General Manager

A gaming and entertainment operator is seeking an experienced, results-driven General Manager to lead local operations, implement business strategies, manage staff performance and drive business objectives. Key responsibilities: - Lead and oversee local operations - Develop and implement business strategies - Manage budgets, business performance and results - Supervise department heads and support staff development - Maintain strong customer, employee and stakeholder relations Education and experience: - A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field, with a minimum of five (5) years' middle-to-senior management experience, including profit-and-loss responsibility for a business unit - Alternatively, candidates without the formal qualifications must have at least seven (7) years' middle-to-senior management experience, including some profit-and-loss responsibility for a business unit Essential skills and requirements: - Strong leadership and team-management skills - Financial, accounting, marketing and IT knowledge - Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of local labour and gaming laws - Knowledge of or experience in the gaming or leisure industry - A valid driver's licence, access to a vehicle and proof of valid motor insurance How to apply: apply through JobLink.
